- Volunteer tutors will assiduously keep confidential from those outside Read Now all information concerning Read Now clients, except as required by law.
- Volunteer tutors will refrain from all contact with Read Now clients except those contacts directly related to services provided by Read Now.
- Volunteer tutors will accept no material compensation for their activities performed for Read Now and Read Now clients.
- Volunteer tutors will accept no gifts over $25 in value from any Read Now client.
- Volunteer tutors will accept no gifts of any kind from anyone in any way related to a Read Now client.
- Social and/or sexual relationships between Read Now volunteer tutors and Read Now clients are strictly prohibited.
- Volunteer tutors will refrain from using training methods, materials and locations other than those approved by Read Now with any Read Now client.
- Volunteer tutors will not provide Read Now clients with any type of transportation.
- Volunteer tutors will represent themselves as Read Now tutors only to clients assigned to them by Read Now.
- Volunteer tutors will treat all Read Now clients with dignity and respect and always be supportive and encouraging to clients’ learning activities.
- Volunteer tutors will make every effort to be present and punctual for all Read Now client appointments.
- Volunteer tutors will refrain from discussing their own personal religious or political beliefs with Read Now clients.
