Silent reading is a complex activity that is normally acquired in childhood. However for a number of reasons, adults sometimes need help developing or restoring the silent reading skill. The mission of Read Now is to provide that help.
A simple way to tell if a reading problem exists is this; when a person can understand a text that is read aloud but is not able to read that same text silently with comfort, that’s a reading problem. This is often not an insurmountable problem given the right help and the right tools.

We’re happy to meet near you at any local library in greater Austin area.

Session times are arranged between student and tutor.

While are sessions have traditionally taken place live, we now offer remote options too!

Yep, that’s it. Plus we currently average an increase of one reading grade level every 3 sessions.

We will conduct an initial interview to determine if you are a good fit for our services. Students with reading problems will be paired with a tutor.
